My goodness, this last part of the trilogy is a dramatic and nail-biting thrill ride! All Josh and Gabby want is their HEA and to celebrate the birth of their child. Too bad Leo doesn't want to stick with that plan. I think what makes this story that much more nerve-wracking is that we get an additional POV to the story, taking the series from intense to heart palpitations.

Now, as much as I loved this trilogy, I wasn't exactly thrilled with Josh's behavior in this installment; he's so wrapped up in this case that he and Gabby weren't the cohesive unit they were in the first two parts. I understand it was due to the case, but there was always distance between them. But luckily, everything is able to wrapped up by the end of the story, even if I didn't agree with how everything played out (the situation with Gabby's sister Audrey).

This is only the second series I've read by C.A. Harms, and I liked how different it was from the Key West series, and I'm really hoping we get Gray and Brook's story soon.
