This is a good book, but it did take me a while to get into the story itself. I liked that the leading male (Mercs) isn't the rockstar God, but rather someone who works behind the scenes. Mercs is the type to make you swoon: all about family, sweet and hot, plenty of sexiness mixed and can brood with the best of them. Effa is one talented bundle of sassy, feisty female with plenty of confidence and her own type of swagger. The chemistry between them is pretty dang hot, but the kicker is the cliffhanger I was NOT prepared for! Does anyone know when Breathe is coming out? I need to know what's gonna happen next!

Writing gives her life purpose. It makes her feel, laugh, cry and get completely enveloped in the characters and their story lines. She feels completely at home when writing and wouldn’t consider doing anything else.
