This was my first Melanie Moreland book but it sure won't be my last! I loved every minute of this book, from Bentley's stiff and formal personality to Emmy's sassiness. But! Bentley isn't as cold and formal as he comes across at the start, because once you start getting to know him, you see much of a catch he actually is, from his thoughtfulness and kindness mixed with a surprising bit of vulnerability. Of course his world is turned upside down, inside out once he meets Emmy, and I loved how she brought out the fun side of him. The banter between them is fresh and witty, sometimes, snarky, sometimes sexy and a lot sweet. I can't wait to read Aiden's story next!
