Title: Claiming Tuesday (The Next Generation, #4)
Author: Riley Edwards
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: April 30th
Hosted by: Buoni Amici Press, LLC.
Jackson Clark is a man who knows what he wants. And he wants Tuesday. He sees past the beautiful façade she shows the world straight to the pain she hides. When Tuesday offers him a friends with benefits arrangement—minus the friendship—he has no choice but to accept her offer. He’s willing to do anything to get close to the elusive woman and show her he’s worth the risk.
When Tuesday starts getting presents from a secret admirer, she goes into a tailspin. She’s been down this ugly road before and she knows how it can destroy her life.
Can she really trust that Jackson is the good guy in this mess? And, if he is, will she realize in time that not only will he protect her heart, but he might just save her life?
Another enjoyable installment for this series, although I do wish there was more of an equal balance of romance and suspense.
One thing I enjoy about Riley Edwards' writing is that she has the ability to make the characters feel lifelike; how could you not feel some type of way for Tuesday and her early years? And goodness, that relationship that did a real number on her, made me just want to give her a big hug. You know, if she weren't a fictional character lol.
I loved how Jackson is the type of man that once he knows what he wants, he'll go after it until he gets it; like being a firefighter. But his biggest challenges will be getting Tuesday to see that he's for real about his intentions towards her, and keeping her safe.
I loved the chemistry between Jackson and Tuesday, and the sexy times are pretty freakin' hot!
