I died.
It was supposed to be the end of my story. But after Aon buried me in the Pool of the Ancients, I learned that Under wasn’t done with me yet.
Even though I escaped death the first time, there’s a prophecy predicting my demise, and it’s driving Aon mad. His desperation to protect me is dangerous, deadly, and I’m afraid of what he might do.
The void that threatens to destroy this world is receding, yet Under is still not safe. I can feel it in my blood, the warning that something terrible is coming. Something bigger and stronger than all of us.
But I am no longer the human girl merely fighting for survival. I’m different now, changed into something this world hasn’t seen in fifteen hundred years.
I am immortal, a queen of Under.
I am the Queen of Dreams.

Whoever is out there reading my reviews, please, you MUST read this series! We're 3 books into the series and the writing is still just as stellar as it was in book 1. The character development continues to evolve and you're quickly pulled in by the words and actions and the overall story won't let you go. We've got our familiar characters who are still just as fantastic, even Edu, who tends to irritate my nerves sometimes lol. The new characters we meet all serve a purpose and bring a new sort of balance to the story.

Lydia's got my respect, I'm pretty sure if all of this happened to me, I wouldn't be able to still find some compassion in my pinky to extend to those who've done me wrong like she's able to. The dialogue between her and Q is sometimes hilarious, which helps break up the dark that is this series. As for Aon, dude is a psychotic sadistic entity in book 1 and that hasn't stopped by this book; which I actually like because sometimes, dark characters start out all big and bad but somewhere along the way they lose that darkness. But not Aon! He's still just as psychotic and sadistic now, so thank you for keeping him the same Ms. Kingsley! This particular installment is about 3 minutes old and I'm already salivating for the next book!

Kat has always been a storyteller. With ten years in script-writing for performances on both the stage and for tourism, she has always been writing in one form or another. There, she is the lead concept designer, handling everything from game and set design, to audio and lighting, to illustration and script writing. Also on her list of skills are artistic direction, scenic painting and props, special effects, and electronics. A graduate of Boston University with a BFA in Theatre Design, she has a passion for unique, creative, and unconventional experiences.
