I enjoyed the first book in this series, but something about this particular story really had me hooked and I had trouble putting it down (but adulting got in the way of my reading time).
I have to hand it to Ms. Valentine, she did a helluva job with Elijah and Cole, I couldn't get enough of either of them. They're great on their own, but when they're together it's almost magical; so sexy yet swoon-worthy all at the same time. It was so easy to pick up on the feelings flowing between them, like something tangible. They brought a great balance to the other: Cole loved with his whole self, and Elijah needed someone to show him that he is indeed worthy of being loved.
