Absolutely FANTASTIC! I've devoured each book in this series and they've all been great, but this one is, emphatically, hands down, my favorite. I love it when a character who's so jaded against love is the most surprised to realize that they went and did the very thing they were so adamant against, and we get that with Hal.
There's no denying there's chemistry between Hal and Fee, and the fact that Hal is enemy number with Fee's soon-to-be dickbag ex makes the story just a bit sweeter, in the whole "in your face" way. Of course, since Hal isn't used to feelings, he's eight kinds of confused, but swears up, down, left and right that he's not a "forever" kind of guy. Maybe not previously, but that was before Fee!
As per usual with a Melanie Moreland Vested Interest story, there are a few twists thrown in just to keep everything flowing, but goodness, it's also plenty swoony and a bit emotional as well. I gotta say, this entire series is perfect for binge reading this summer, trust and believe that!
