The second of Abi's brothers gets his turn in the hot seat in another fun story about the Cook brothers and their road to a HEA. Identical twin Jax has had it bad for Ronnie (best friend to April from Work in Progress) since they were introduced almost a year earlier, but hasn't made any sort of advance on Ronnie, for reasons that actually make sense. I loved that Ronnie decided to take the bull by the horns and make the first move. There's plenty of chemistry between the two and their road to romance was pretty much a fun ride with a couple of sizable bumps along the way. I was impressed with how Jax spoke his mind about Ronnie when confronting her parents, and thankfully Ronnie's sister Gilly has always had her back and been super supportive of Ronnie's decisions.
I will say that while I enjoyed this book, I wasn't that happy about the turn of events once everyone was in Vegas; it felt like what should have been about Jamie and April suddenly wasn't because of certain decisions. At least everyone was good with the choice though so it all worked out.
