I have been WAITING for Damir's story for eleventy-seven years and as soon as this hit my hit e-reader I put real life on pause and didn't resurface till I got to the end and this was everything I was (im)patiently waiting for!
If you've read the first book (and it's a must before reading this), you're already familiar with Damir's tunnel vision of revenge, his general lack of...humanity? Bethany is the perfect woman for him, somehow she helps to balance him, but at the same time incites his crazy. They shouldn't work, yet they do. Not sure how Brianna Hale has managed to create such insane characters you want to know more, but she's done it with this couple and I'm eagerly looking forward to her next book.
