YES!!!!

I've been eagerly anticipating this book since I got to that shocktastic end of the first book, and this second book gave me everything I wanted and I didn't put this down till I got to the end (which explains the massive dark circles under my eyes!)

There were still PLENTY of twists and turns in this story, not to mention the drama between Everly and her mother-in-law (which makes me so freakin' glad my MIL is not like that)! I loved that Everly was determined to not let the royal court walk all over her; she's got plenty of backbone and fierceness to keep her from buckling under the immense pressure. And Henry; poor, clueless Henry, who was so adamant that Everly wouldn't get through his walls. Obviously he missed that day of school when he learned that when he states "no one shall breach my heart's defenses", is precisely the moment when he falls in love. Actually, they both do, but neither wants to fully accept and voice out loud the changing feelings between them. But hey, that just means interesting and heated banter and dialogue between them.
