My career is far more important than hurt feelings though, so Santiago can suck it up and deal. That’s what I’m doing, no matter how many times I remember the feel of his lips on mine. I won’t fall for him this time. I’m done being anyone’s second choice.


I thought this was a FANTASTIC book! The story had a good flow to it, the dialogue was fresh, sexy, snarky, swoon-worthy, and the interactions between Maeve and Santiago took me through it and I was here for all of their back-and-forth. Maeve is a character that a few readers can relate to, and I loved that while Santiago seemed to have a stick up hindparts, the rest of the band was supportive and on her side in regards to her spot within said band, and Maeve wasn't about to apologize and give up her dream because of Santiago's twisted knickers.
