I enjoyed this book from start to finish, and I'm already anticipating the next book in the series! I love a good enemies-to-lovers story, and with the history between Chase and Madison, I knew this was gonna be an engaging read, and I pretty much read this in one sitting. I got a kick out of the interactions between Chase and his sons (who doesn't love a good single dad story), and while I liked Madison and her interactions with Chase's sons, it took a good chunk of the book to really begin to like her; I just wasn't that impressed with her at the start, but I can't quite figure out why she annoyed me. But I can promise you this: Chase's ex-wife is the absolute WORST. There've been a few fictional characters I've read over the years that made me want to throat punch them and this particular is at the top of the list. However, I did enjoy seeing the evolution of the interactions between Chase and Madison, and the chemistry between them is plenty hot!
