I didn't realize this was part of a series when I started reading, so I was a bit lost about some of the content of the story, but I did enjoy what I read. Obviously I don't know how Honey and Dawson were portrayed in the first book, but I did enjoy seeing growth Honey went through over the course of this particular book; loved seeing that she wasn't going to be anyone's pushover, especially Dawson, and he was all kinds of hella hot and alphaness, but he wasn't douchey about it. He was actually really good to and for Honey, he got her to experience more of the world without forcefully making her do it, just kinda pushed her in the direction and let her take charge of her destiny.
