Oh man, I love a good friends to lovers story. What I love more? A stellar friends-to-enemies-to-lovers story. And this book has it in spades, especially the enemies part! Lani may have left Whiskey Key all meek and unassuming, but during her time away she definitely found her spitfire, take no ish backbone because she wastes no time telling Brett how it's gonna be. And dang if that didn't get him fired up. This book has plenty of sassiness, heat, angst, misunderstandings, renewed friendships and more within the pages, and I loved every minute of this book!
