It took me a while to get into this story because I didn't realize it was part of a series, and while it states it can be read as a standalone, it really can't because I had no clue about the events that happened in the earlier books that leads into this book, The chemistry between Ronnie and Kristian was hot, but they were so at odds with each other a good deal of the time I felt it took away from the story; again, maybe there's some information on both characters from the previous books that might have shed some insight on these two.
