It's been a minute since I ready anything by Mia Kayla and I'm so glad I got a chance to read this particular story because from start to finish this had me giggling and outright laughing. The interactions and banter between Sonia and Brad were just short of painful, since we know right from the start how little Sonia actually cares for her boss, who comes across as an uncultured douche canoe in the first chapter (peenees flowers anyone?)
Even under the shallow surface layer of dislike, you can feel the push and pull between them, but at the same time I kept wondering what d-bag comment was going to spew from Brad's mouth at any given moment. This is a slow-burn romance that kept me engaged from start to finish to see how things would turn out between these two, and this is a book I highly recommend!
