I've read a few Aleatha Romig books in the past, and this one here is plenty, and I mean PLENTY, sexy, spicy hotness. If you don't like to read taboo stories, just move on to the next story because this one might set your e-reader on fire.
Sweet baby cheezits, this story had me hooked from the prologue and I did not put it down till I finished. It's not a long book, but it definitely kept me engaged. There's no denying the chemistry between Sophie and Matt, despite the age difference between them. What makes this believable is that this scenario could happen (no doubt has happened) in the real world. Not gonna lie, I had a quick moment of "eww" during one of Matt's first inner dialogue moments, but once I reread it, it wasn't nearly as ick as I thought at first.
There's a potential wrench thrown into this romance, but it didn't play out the way it possibly could have (and once again, I'm sure has happened somewhere in real life), and a happily ever after is had by all!
