The sweater stretched farther, Sailor’s nose pinching with the movement. “This is really gross.” She attempted to wiggle out of the sweater without the wet part touching her—a tricky thing to do, apparently. With the material covering her face and her arms bent above her head, she let out a nervous-sounding laugh. Then her muffled voice echoed from behind the fabric.

“Um…Ryan? Are you still standing there?”

Ryan crossed his arms, running his gaze over the tight white tank she wore beneath the sweater and the sliver of smooth skin that peeked out from below the hem. “Watching you tangle yourself up in a barf sweater? Sure am.”

“Well,” she said, “I know we just met, and this might be awkward for you, but could you give me a little assistance? I seem to be stuck.”

I love a good romance in which one character is the best friend to their romantic interest's sibling and they don't want to cross that line but they inevitably can't help who they fall in love with. There's just something about these romance stories that come off as credible because the characters already have some type of history. And goodness knows, Flynn and Olivia were friends for a long time before it all went to hell 7 years prior, but something occurred that has caused Olivia's feelings toward Flynn to be not quite so friendly, more like animosity hovering somewhere around the hatred border. But we all know it's a thin line between love and hate.

This book is quality entertainment friends. Sexy fun with a dose of drama and angst (but not enough to detract from the story). If you've read the previous two books in the series, you've already met both Olivia and Flynn, so I was excited to see they finally get their shot at love, but it doesn't come easy. At heart, Flynn is a good guy and I loved when he would put his feelings out there. I applaud Olivia's strength, she's a pretty well-rounded individual, especially given the fact that her father really wasn't in her life like he was with her brother Brody.

The chemistry between Flynn and Olivia is pretty damn hot, and watching the connection between them grow stronger was great. The character development is on point, and the interactions are both hilarious at times and sexy at others. Another winner from Ms. Meader!

Unfortunately, when that "bonus" becomes the key to the final deal, he finds himself back in bed--so to speak--with Chelsea, and after their steamy tryst, he's not interested in keeping things professional...

I found this to be an entertaining story, but I would have liked there to be more to Rafe and Chelsea than the sexuals we were treated to. Don't get me wrong, the sexuals were plenty hot, but I would have liked to see a bit more of relationship-ness to them, even though neither one was looking for a relationship. True, they had a rather unconventional yet extremely up close and personal introduction, I just would have preferred that the sexuals between them didn't happen so....frequently. I would have liked to see more dramaedy when it came to the secondary characters, especially the ex-boyfriend/baby mama angle. There were a few laugh out loud moments between Rafe and Chelsea, and Rafe's father had the sense of humor that I like (the dry, sarcastic type), but I'm hoping we get stories on Chelsea's BFF Laurie and Rafe's sister Arden at some point.
