Country swagger, filthy mouth, and one big, huge…gun.
The wildest outlaw in Sugar County is about to get his dirty hands all over one lucky lady.
And this is one cowboy who knows how to hold on tight.
No one ever said robbing a drug kingpin was gonna to be easy. But for a rough and tumble outlaw like me, it should be a cakewalk.
That is, before I crash in locked and loaded to find the prettiest little firecracker this side of the Mississippi sticking a gun in my face.
She’s the good girl gone bad – the gorgeous, tempting little socialite with a shotgun. Problem is, we’re after the same money. Problem is, one look at that fiery red hair and those sweet curves that won’t quit, and I’m hooked like a fish on a line.
Problem is, we already slept together.
Yeah. Shit.
I know the rules, and I know a rough, filthy country boy like myself should stay away from a rich, sassy heiress like Chastity Huntington. But I’ve already had a taste of her sweet lips, and gotten a tease of her soft moans. And now? Well now I’m gonna make her mine.
We’re tied to each other – literally – and on the run from some very dangerous people. But lucky for her, I carry a big gun.
Lucky for her, I know how to hold on tight and ride all night.
Lucky for her, I’m never gonna let go.
Giddyup.

Tired of keeping them hidden inside or only having them come out in the bedroom, they’re all here in the form of some wickedly hot stories. Single-minded alpha hero, sinfully taboo relationships, and wildly over-the-top scenarios. If you love it extra dirty, extra hot, and extra naughty, this is the place for you! REVIEW TOUR - Branded (Brody Brothers #1) by Stacy Gail

Title: Branded
Series: Brody Brothers
Author: Stacy Gail
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publication Date: July 2, 2018
Publisher: Carina Press

You want my hands on you, Celia. Making you shiver, making you moan, making you scream.
Admit it.

Celia Villarreal had wanted those things with Ryland Brody, Bitterthorn’s golden boy—and wanted them badly enough to make a fool of herself one idiotic night months ago.

Naughty children shouldn’t touch what they don’t own.

Rejection always stings, but putting a move on Ry had devastating consequences. Now, her regret burns as bright as her need—until Ry, as glorious as ever, makes her an offer that might finally be her ticket out of town.

I’m not your enemy, darlin’. If you give me half a chance, you’ll see that I can be your hero.

When working together leads to grinding all naked-like with the very cowboy who’d seen her at her worst, Celia is afraid she’s made a mistake.

Until the truth comes out.

This is who we are, from now on. Say it. Feel it.
Once Ry’s past motivations come to light, Celia must decide if she can give him another chance, or turn her back on Bitterthorn—and the one man who’s always wanted her—for good.

After reading the synopsis, I was excited to read this book, and all was going well with the story and I getting along nicely, until Ry makes his first appearance. I'm going to be truthful here and say that I don't like him. At. All. It's one thing to be cocky, if you can also be humble at times, but it's a whole other ball game when you're just flat-out arrogant that's the vibe I got from Ry. He comes across as pretty heavy-handed (and not just what happened all those months ago at Celia's party), but with her in general, and I just didn't like it. There's nothing more sexy than an alpha male, but Ry passed that exit on the highway and ended up on the corner of Controlling Avenue and Domineering Street.

But! Once it was revealed why Ry did what he did, I understand his behavior. Doesn't mean I agree with it because I don't, but after he explained the reasons and rationale, it made sense. Even after that explanation, he's still a bossy man, but seeing him in a different light kinda changed my feelings for Ry into something a bit more tolerable. I actually liked the other characters in the story, and its seems this story is based in the same town as Ms. Gail's previous series, so I don't know the back stories on some of the secondary characters. I felt bad for Celia and the way she was being ostracized by the residents of Bitterthorn, although I thought the reaction to the events of the party was definitely over the top, but once that last little bit of knowledge has been shared with Celia (by an unlikely source), it all fell into place. Should Ry have said something before Celia found out? Of course! But then Celia wouldn't have had that heartfelt talk with Pauline and realized her true feelings for Ry. And I gotta say, the epilogue was hilarious! I'm looking forward to reading more about the Brody Brothers in future books.

“You wanted twenty-four hours to make your decision, so that’s exactly what you’re going to get. You will be taking this project on, whether you know it or not, so there’s no point in you saying otherwise.”
“No, I won’t.” She didn’t even realize she was going to stomp her foot in her fury until she did it, and something crunched underneath it.
Crunched…and wriggled.
Her muffled scream coincided with her launching straight up and into Ry’s surprised arms, her own arms wrapping around his neck in a stranglehold.
“What the…?”
“Bug!” It was the best she could do.
“A scorpion? Did you get stung?” In an instant he had her inside, carrying her at a near-run to set her on the huge kitchen island topped with a slab of dark gray granite. “Celia, are you stung?”
“It crunched.” God, God, why didn’t he understand the horror?
“Which foot? The right?” Untangling himself from her strangler’s grip, he picked up her foot by the ankle, bent to examine it… and began to smile. “Looks like a small, garden variety beetle.”
“It’s still there?”  Her screech had now reached super-sonic levels. “Get it off, get it off, get it off!”
When he burst out laughing, she vowed that one day she would kill him. Slowly.
“Okay, I’m getting it off, though this is your own damn fault.” Still chuckling, he turned and ripped a wad of paper towels off the roll suspended under the weathered-finish cabinets. “This is South Texas, woman. You know better than to run all over creation without shoes.”
“Don’t talk. Bug. Get it off.”
“Yeah, I heard you. Along with the rest of the county.” Grinning, he wet the paper towels and with quick efficiency swept the bottom of her foot clean. “There we go, all better. Wanna see it?”
“Ugh, no! God, just…no, no, no, no, no. Ugh.”
“I’m going to take a wild shot in the dark and guess you don’t like bugs.”
Valiantly she fought off a shudder of revulsion and tried to remember how to communicate without screaming. “The first time I saw a tomato hornworm I almost blacked out. Nearly ended my love of gardening then and there.”
“You still look like you might faint.” Tossing the towels into the nearby trash, he leaned his hands against the counter on either side of her and dipped his head until his face was level with hers. “Want me to carry you to bed, darlin’?”
Her eyes met his, and for a full second her heart stopped beating. The question hung between them, full of such wild possibilities it made her breathless, and a startling flash fire of hungry awareness scorched her skin until she thought she might be glowing with it. Then the memory of being spanked for being a naughty child reared its ugly head, and that heat morphed into prickling humiliation.
Deliberately she shifted her gaze to the spiky tribal tattoo on his right forearm—mainly because no one with a double-X chromosome could breathe when looking into those devastating green eyes—and tried to edge away from him. “No, I’m fine. Except I’m not fine,” she couldn’t help but add, at last giving in to the shudder. “I think I need some antiseptic. And a foot bath. And maybe surgery, because I can still feel it wriggling and crunching. Ugh.”
Another burst of laughter erupted from him, and to her shock he rested his forehead on her shoulder. “God, you’re killing me with the cute.”
He was so close, so warm, so freaking touchable… “Laugh all you want, but I’m not joking. I think I’m traumatized.”

“What you need is a distraction. I got just the thing.” Still chuckling under his breath, he lifted his head and caught her mouth with his.
A competitive figure skater from the age of eight, Stacy Gail wrote stories between events to pass the time. By fourteen, she told her parents she was either going to be a skating coach who was also a romance writer, or a romance writer who was also a skating pro. Now with a day job of playing on the ice with her students, and writing everything from PNR and cyberpunk to contemporary romance at night, both dreams have come true.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW - Kickin' Up Dust (Operation Cowboy #1) by Em Petrova

Kickin' Up Dust (Operation Cowboy Book 1) by Em Petrova

Date of Publication: July 19, 2016

Blurb

This Marine follows the rules. This cowgirl is all about breaking them.

Operation Cowboy, Book 1

After losing his best friend and CO, Matt, in combat, Brodie Bell didn't think his spirits could sink any lower. He was wrong. One look at his and Matt's storm-flattened hometown nearly levels him.
Los Vista needs a leader, and as Brodie takes the weight of the world on his shoulders, he comes up with a plan. Merge the two ranches left standing, pray for a good calving season…and keep his hands too busy to get busy with Matt's sexy little sister.

Danica was in pigtails when Brodie and Matt went off chasing glory. Now she's a woman with a broken heart, but if Matt knew of the depraved cravings Brodie ignites in her body, he'd haunt her from the grave.

As they work to mend miles of broken fences, Brodie fights to ignore Danica's tiny cutoff shorts and mile-long legs—and to ignore the "weapon" that's locked and loaded in his Levis. Because the last thing he wants is to dishonor his friend's memory by ravishing the sweetest little cowgirl he's ever laid eyes on.

Warning: Involves a sweet and sassy ranch girl who knows her way around a rope, and a Marine turned cowboy who'd like to tie her down and spank her until she begs for more.

This was my first time reading Em Petrova and I enjoyed this book. It's a sweet yet erotically hot friends-to-lovers story that also focuses on survival and learning to move on after loss. I couldn't imagine coming home from the military, not only without your closest friend who died fighting in the war, but to come home to find your hometown decimated by a tornado, but that's exactly what Brodie encountered. I liked how Brodie and Danica came together in order to help save their families' ranches, but also rallying together to try and help rebuild their hometown. There's not a lot of issues that hindered their relationship, other than Brodie's guilt from hooking up with his best friend's younger sister. Brodie and Danica do get their HEA and we readers get a smexy hot story!

BLOG TOUR REVIEW - Her Lucky Cowboy (Montana Men #3) by Jennifer Ryan

Montana Men Ebook Bundle

HER LUCKY COWBOY
Montana Men #3
Jennifer Ryan
Releasing Aug 25th
Avon

Champion rodeo rider Dane Bowden is eight seconds from winning under the Vegas lights, one last hurrah before reluctantly returning to his family's Montana ranch. But his bull has other plans. When Dane wakes up, he's sure he's died and gone to heaven . . . because the doctor who comes to his aid is the same girl who saved his life and disappeared years ago.

Bell would do anything for Dane. He's the fantasy that always kept her going. A child genius hidden away by her family, Bell was the secret no one talked about, the girl no one wanted. Despite finding success as a young surgeon, she's still the awkward girl who's never had a boyfriend. So why does Dane, a notorious playboy and sizzling-hot cowboy, insist on taking her on a real date?

Bell is the only woman in Dane's heart. When a rodeo rivalry turns deadly, it's his turn to save Bell's life—because he sure as hell won't lose his guardian angel again.

This was my first time reading Jennifer Ryan's work and I'm glad I did, I really enjoyed this book.

Dane and Bell have a history, but it's not like you think; she helped him when he was injured as teenager, but he didn't get a chance to find out who she was. But that doesn't mean he forgot about her, and is surprised when he sees her again years later.

Bell, unfortunately, has not had an easy life; the product of a one-night stand,  neither one of her parents wanted her and she was raised by her father's parents. Even more unfortunate is once her grandfather died, she was left with her grandmother, who is just a mean and vindictive woman.

Dane and Bell's tenative friendship eventually develops into something more, and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop over the course of the book. This isn't just a straight-forward typical romance, you also get the added element of suspense when a murder happens. There are a couple of subplots that take place in the story that did seem to take away from Dane's and Bell's story, simply because their storyline shifted in tone from the original tone of the overall story, but at least it did mix up the book a bit.

This is the third book in the series, and while you meet the characters from the earlier books, you still get just enough information to not feel totally lost if you haven't read the first two books yet. Which I haven't, but I plan on reading them soon.
