Blurb/Synopsis:

Falling in love was the easy part…
For Talon Carver, the commanding and charismatic lead singer of the rock band 69 Bottles, life has never been better—or worse. His heart’s at a full 11 for Addison Beltrand, his feisty PR rep. But admitting it was a much different tune. The dilemma’s even more complicated when adding his other lover to the mix: Kyle Black, the band’s handsome, sweet and sexy manager.

Why ruin a good thing, right? Things are pretty damn perfect for the trio—in and out of bed. But just when they find their best rhythm with each other, a rocky night in Minneapolis forces all three to reexamine their feelings—and take their relationship to new levels.

But can love be enough?

The band’s soaring popularity, along with the pressures of maintaining an unconventional relationship on a high-profile rock tour, start to take their toll. When Addison starts to fall apart, Talon and Kyle must come to terms with how important she is to them both.

Can Addison find the strength to be their glue once more?

What happens when the world goes on…but yours suddenly stops?

When everything looks like it’s going to fall apart? Is love enough to bring Talon, Kyle, and Addison back to each other’s arms…and with it, the magic that true redemption can bring?

A beautiful ending to one of the best menage series I've had a chance to read. This isn't a series that's only about the sexy times shared by three people, you get to see how the relationship develops and the balance they share. It's not always love and rainbows and sunshine; just as any relationship there are always trials and tribulations. But what's important is how each member will respond and be there for each other when needed.

Both Kyle and Talon love Addison, but I loved watching the love between them grow. But there's that fear that something could cause them to implode, and if that does happen, what would be the result? Will they walk away from everything that could be, or would it be Addison that manages to keep it all together?

I don't want to say too much more about the story without fearing I'll be spoiling the series, but trust me when I say I think this is a series that most people would enjoy reading.

EXCERPT

I sit down slowly into a chair, tears streaming down my cheeks. That’s it, that’s the song, the one he wrote last night. Everyone in the room is standing, clapping, whistling and hollering. I watch Talon carefully, his eyes are on me, watching me. His eyes are glassy with emotion. I blow him a kiss. “Play it again,” I say. He smiles and begins playing the song again.
Strumming on his guitar. Talon playing is truly something to watch. He’s so confident, fluid and more than skilled at what he does. Though the melody isn’t complicated, his fingers are deft and quick on the strings.
One of the things I’ve always been able to do is memorize songs very quickly. It’s either a curse or a gift, and right now, it’s a gift. I start to sing along with him, more to myself than anything, but I quickly find eyes and heads turning in my direction.
Cami snaps into action, putting Adam and his crew back on their jobs, though I don’t think they stopped. Then she points at me and then at the microphone. I shake my head. She gets up and comes over to me, crouching down before me. “Is this the song?”
“I think so, I’ve never heard it before.” Though I’m talking to her, I can’t take my eyes off of Talon as he finishes the second go round of the song.
“Do it. Let’s drop the recording on the label.” I smile at her and her enthusiasm is infectious and I get up, walking toward Talon.
“Do you have the lyrics?” I ask him. He smiles and hands me his notebook. It’s open to a page with ‘To Be Free’ written in bold, been scribbled on too many times, pencil. The lyrics are written rather nicely, and I’m impressed by his handwriting, but surprised by the fact that the song has it outlined which part I’m supposed to sing. “Sing it with me? I need the whole thing, I need to feel the pace. Then we can give it a go.”
His eyes are happy and impressed. I kick off my heels and adjust the microphone to match my new height and Talon starts up with the melody.

Oh my word, let me give you a warning: this book is hot! Like keep-ice-close-by-while-you're reading kind of hot.

This book picks up right where Claiming Addison ends, and while there is awesomely hot smexy scenes, this part of the story shows the evolving feelings that Talon, Kyle and Addison are experiencing in regards to each other. We get an up-close view of the dynamics of their arrangement and how, with their personalities and character traits, how well they balance each other.

Excerpt

“We don’t have all day.” That would definitely be Mouse.
“Yeah, yeah, keep your dicks in your pants,” I shout back. ”Show time,” I mumble under my breath.
I walk out of my room, feeling like a slow motion shot in a movie. You know the one where the girl is walking down the beach and all the guys are staring and drooling? I leave the curtain open. I suddenly start feeling self-conscious and wondering if it was too early for this unveiling, then I look at my watch and we’re less than two hours from show time. Fuck it.
I come around the corner and their reactions say it all. Dex and Kyle fall dramatically to the floor holding their chests. Peacock takes a step back and Mouse and Talon’s jaws are hanging on the floor. I do a cute little twirl and Talon takes a seat. Peacock on the other hand shouts, “Rusty, get your ass in here.” What the hell?
I hear heavy pounding footsteps outside and then the bus shakes with force as he bounds up the steps. “What?” Then he catches an eyeful of me. I watch him swallow hard.
“Do not let this one out of your sight. You get me?” Peacock orders.
“Yeah,” Rusty breathes.
“Don’t you boys have a sound check?” I say but nobody moves. “Oh for the love of god. It’s not that attractive.”
“You keep on kidding yourself there, girlfriend,” Dex says as he pulls himself up off of the floor. “I think I had a heart attack.”

Holy ménage Batman!

This book is seven kinds of smexy hotness. I enjoyed the dynamics between Talon, Kyle and Addison, although for me, I feel like everything happened way to quickly. I do realize it had to happen fast because this is supposed to take place over a 12-week tour period, but the decision that the three came to just happened way too quick and way too easily. Especially for how long it had been since Addison had been intimate with a man. I was a bit shocked to learn of the connection between Addison and Kyle, never saw that coming (lol, no pun intended). I also thought it odd that Addison chose to lecture her friend Sam in regards to Dex; why didn't she feel the need to say anything to Jess?

I will say that the scenes with Talon, Kyle and Addison are off the freakin' charts hot! There was a moment in one scene that turned me off, simply because in my mind it just didn't seem sexy. At. All. That's just me; I'm no prude, but I just had to "ew" when I read it. But I do highly recommend this book, because it's not just about all about sex, there's an actual story line and plot that really works well, and the sex is just the bonus to this unconventional relationship.

EXCERPT:
“I need a new voodoo doll.”
With her hands on her hips, her spiral curls bounced as she shook her head and gave me an incredulous look. “Uh, hell to the no; and besides, um yeah, Rosie, what in the world do you need a voodoo doll for?”
I waved my hand in the air. “Oh, you know.” A wicked smile creased my face.  My laughter almost bubbled to the surface at the quizzical look on her face. “Come on Jahane…you remember what we did when we were little.”
"Oh, no, no, Rosie, you are not going to.” Her voice was full of disbelief.
Hysterical laughter exploded from me as I doubled over and held my sides. “No, Jahane, I wanted some fresh fruit. Satsumas to be exact. I missed the sweet taste of that fresh citrus.” My mouth watered at the thought of peeling the green skin off and biting into the sweetness. I heard her sigh in relief and asked, “Do you seriously think I would have done that to you?"
“Well, let’s see…it was you who broke open your piggy bank to exact revenge on the bullies at school.”
Jahane’s response brought long-lost memories to the forefront of my mind. I’d been thrust back in time to days of long ago, and a nervous laugh escaped. “Jahane, you do remember it was your idea to go to the voodoo shop, right?” I cocked my head at her. “And do you remember the look on your mom’s face when she caught us with an assortment of voodoo paraphernalia?”
“Hell, I sure do. My mom was so pissed I thought I would be punished forever.” Then she cackled and imitated her mother. “‘Girls, if you play with voodoo, the spirits will call Marie Laveau herself to reign terror down on y’all.” She laughed so hard at the memory she had to wipe tears from her face.

REVIEW:
Interesting story with a blend of mystery, romance, friendship and magic.

Rosie's life is flipped on its axis after she returns home to New Orleans trying to make sense of her mother's disappearance. In addition to trying to find her mother, Rosie finally believes the stories her mom used to tell that they come from a long line of witches, once magical things begin happening to Rosie. Add to those issues, is the reappearance of her ex-boyfriend Julian, who appears to have some issues going on with him as well.

An enjoyable start to this series, I'm looking forward to the next book to see what adventures await Rosie.

Author Information
Aren't author's bios boring? I always wanted to read one that went something like this:

F.M. Sherrill: recent citizen of earth. Plans on ruling the planet once she gets over the common cold. Or, F.M. Sherrill: time traveler. Decided to alter the space-time continuum by writing a novel, thus changing history slightly, which will eventually lead to the rise of a new human species.

But here it is. F.M. Sherrill is a novelist, A.K.A. an avid bullshitter; that's why she lives in L.A. She's been writing for as long as her ancient mind can remember, devouring tales like an anemic vampire roaming the streets in hot pink heels, always thirsty for more. When she's not writing, she's making steampunk weapons, sewing giant plant-eater Mario plushes, making costumes for some film bloke or cosplayer, and sculpting/casting movie prop replicas while gardening in her urban apartment. Her favorite tools? A soldering iron, a blowtorch, a band saw, a sonic screwdriver, a replicator and an active imagination.

Becca C. Smith received her Film degree from Full Sail University and has worked in the Film and Television industry for most of her adult life. In 2010 Becca published her first novel, Riser followed by the sequel, Reaper, in 2011, and the finale, Ripper in 2013. In 2012 Becca wrote the children’s novel Alexis Tappendorf and the Search for Beale’s Treasure. She is also the co-author of the teen graphic novel Ghost Whisperer: The Haunted. Most recently Becca released Atlas, the first book in a new urban fantasy series. She currently lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband, Stephan and their two cats Jack and Duke.

Review:
Interesting vampire paranormal story with a unique twist.

This is told via dual POV from Shea (the Vessel) and Lucian (the vampire); the other key player in the story is Aidan, Shea's best friend, but he also shares a history with Lucian.

Lucian might be a 3,000 year old vampire, but he still remembers the feelings he had for his first love and how her death shattered him. When he meets Shea, his original intention was to use her to free his father, but somewhere along the way his feelings toward her changed, which I thought was interesting, that as the world's second oldest vampire, he still managed to retain a scrap of humanity and was actually able to experience the feelings he has for Shea.

Shea on the other annoyed me to no end, I'm sorry to say. I will say that she was loyal to Aidan and defended him against Lucian, until that pivotal moment that occurred in Missouri, and even after escaping, she was still devastated by the turn of events with Aidan.

It was good to see Aidan and Lucian team up for Shea's survival, although the fight scene that occurred just prior to them teaming up was good and intense until the whale scene happened (that's as much as I'll say, you'll have to read it to find out what I'm talking about); it got a bit ridiculous with the whale.

The ending was good, even with the cliffhanger, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
