Loved this book! V.F. Mason has become one of my go-to authors for mafia-related romance stories, and Gleb and Victoria's story had me hooked from the start. They meet in a normal sort of way, but that's where the normal ends for them. Gleb is fully immersed in the bratva, seeing how they took him in when he was young. Victoria is also immersed in the bratva world, but her feelings are at the opposite ends of the spectrum from Gleb's feelings about the bratva. There are plenty of twists in this story, with the right amount of violence for a mafia book (descriptive but not overly gory). I was surprised that there were a few spots that had me laughing, but there were also times where I felt a bit emotional. Overall another outstanding book for Ms. Mason!
