About
the Author:
Damian Jericho is the pen name of
a best-selling sci-fi/fantasy novelist who tragically does not have a name that
is half as interesting as ‘Damian Jericho’.
Both of them reside in the Boston area and one of them is real.
I really enjoyed these first two parts of this series. Apparently Mara is the type of female who knows she'll have to work harder at getting people to take her seriously, given that not only is she a looker, but that she just happens to be blond (although I'm not sure why that needed to be pointed out. Maybe the dumb blond theory?) Her introduction to Argent Leeds is all types of cringeworthy, but made enough of an impression with Mr. Leeds that garnered Mara a private invitation to visit Mr. Leeds away from the museum. Over the course of the evening, certain events transpire between Mara and Argent, that may or may not be an effect from the stones.
This is an interesting series so far, and I can't wait to read the rest and find out exactly how the stones are affecting Mara and how much Argent knows about the stones.
