Say it ain't so! I can't believe this is it for one of my most favorite couples, Jonas and Sarah. How the hell will I spend my time at work now?
So the beginning of this last (sob! that weird gaspy snort sound!) installment of the trilogy is emotional; we get the story about what happened to Jonas after his mother's death, and who was responsible for getting him to open up again. Of course it's not all happy, we also get to see just how much of a douchetwat Jonas' and Josh's father is.
Sarah also feels remorse for what happened, simply because she realizes what happened to her had a devastating effect on Jonas. We also get to learn more about the escape Sarah and her mother made to get away from Sarah's father, and that was pretty damn impressive.
We obviously know who was behind the attack, but no one knows what The Club is really about until plans are set in motion and Henn the hacker works his magic. Once that box has been opened and the truth comes out, it's one stunning revelation after another.
Running parallel to the storyline about The Club, is Jonas being afraid to tell Sarah all about The Lunacy. But he does, and her reaction was not what he was expecting. And for me, that's what I love about these characters: they don't keep secrets from each other. And the way Jonas takes care of his precious, pretty baby Sarah? His Magnificent Intake Agent? Pure awesomesauce!
For all of the drama at the start of this last part of the trilogy, the last two chapters and epilogue are absolutely epic and beautiful.
