About the Author

Kimberly Knight lives in the mountains near a lake with her loving husband and spoiled cat, Precious. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her favorite reality TV shows, watching the San Francisco Giants and San Jose Sharks kick butt, crushing candy on Candy Crush, playing computer games like World of Warcraft with Audrey Harte and online poker. Now that she lives near a lake, she plans on working on her tan and doing more outdoor stuff like...watching hot guys ski. However, the bulk of her time is dedicated to writing and reading Romance and Erotic fiction.

I've read several books by Kimberly Knight and this book is different from her previous books. Not in a bad way, but different in a way that wasn't expected but enjoyed all the same.

Gabe Hastings was doing what few of us actually get a chance to do: live the life he's always envisioned. For Gabe, it was following in his grandfather's footsteps and serving in our nation's military. He even managed to find love in an unlikely place, but that part of his dream was tragically cut short. Unfortunately Gabe dealt with the loss by finding solace at the bottom of whiskey bottles.

On the surface, Autumn Jones appears to have a charmed, idyllic life, but we all know appearances can sometimes be deceiving and Autumn is living in her own personal hell. A chance meeting sets Gabe and Autumn onto a new path that could possibly lead to a HEA.

As always, the character development is fantastic and the story line is one that is wholly believable. Despite Autumn's craptacular marriage, she had all kinds of courage, and Gabe is all hot alpha military man who was able to finally overcome his depressive state and want to actually rejoin the land of the living. Another fantastic book from Kimberly Knight!
