Lisa has always enjoyed reading
about monsters in love and now she writes about them, because monsters need
love too.
She adores beasties of all sorts,
fictional as well as real, and has a farm full of them in her Southwest
Missouri home, including: one child, one husband, two dogs, two cats, a dozen
hens, thousands of Italian bees, and a guinea pig.
She may or may not keep a
complete zombie apocalypse bug-out bag in her trunk at all times, including a
machete. Just. In. Case.
I really enjoyed these three stories, and although it's a series, each book features a different couple, but the stories do intertwine with each other. In Reap & Repent, we meet Ruth, a young woman who has been able to see the auras of others for as long as she can remember, but she has no clue why she has this particular ability. It's not until she meets Deacon that she learns about the extent of what she is and what role she plays in her new reality. It's also a great bonus that she and Deacon have great chemistry together. We get to meet Kylen and Nate, who are also inhabitants of the paranormal realm, and they each have their own stories in this series.
