This is a light and entertaining read about two people who weren't even looking for love but managed to find it anyway. Both Gunner and Indie have incidents from their pasts that have pretty much made them decide to swear off love. I liked that the story is told in alternating POVs, but I found it a bit harder to connect with the story because we got the story after events occurred, kind of like both characters were giving us the highlight reel from the events that happened to them that day. We do get a HEA, but not before the drama that occurs, which honestly? I liked that aspect of the story, unexpected and different, but it worked.

I would definitely recommend this book if you're looking for something with some spice and a dash of drama.

Stacy Mantlo is a full time wife and mother of two and now new author. She is addicted to coffee and chocolate and tries to get six hours of sleep at night.
