I don't read many historical romance novels anymore, but this is a series that I'm loving. This picks up about a week after the end of the first book (Desire Me Now), with a bit of startling news concerning Amelia. While Nick is learning more about Amelia, she can't say the same about Nick. When she tries to bring up the subject, he is effective in distracting her from her questions. I will say that his way of distracting would make me forget whatever I wanted to know also!
Although it seems that one threat appears to no longer be an issue for Amelia, a new threat appears on the horizon that still means trouble for Amelia and Nick. It's just a matter of how far someone will go to cause problems for our intrepid (and smexy) couple.
