Drawn by sheer stimulation and sexual energy, she begins to visit exclusive BDSM clubs. Eager to move from voyeur to participant, she must find a way to convince Deuce to accept this new and exciting chapter in her life. How can she convince Deuce this is the correct path for them both?

Deuce will have to figure out how to handle an international black ops firm during the upcoming war with the Republic of Iran all while trying to understand his wife’s new and exciting sexual desires. To succeed, he will have to re-invent himself throughout this thrilling and sexually explicit story.

This was a story that took me by surprise, and in a good way. The characters are well-developed and the writing was crisp and precise without being overly wordy. I enjoyed the military scenes and descriptions (took me back to my days of military training and deployements).

I thought the way everything happened in the book felt natural; with Deuce's injury and recovery. His eventual acceptance of the end of his military career, but the start of a new civilian calling. I enjoyed the fact that it was Isabel who was looking into the BDSM lifestyle, Deuce's struggle of wondering if he can and will be what Isabel needs within the new lifestyle, and the fact that both she and Deuce were willing to expand their horizons (so to speak) and explore and learn together to strengthen their relationship.
