Another outstanding story in this series! This has a great balance of romance and mob drama. And I mean drama with a capital drama. The romance between Alessa and Adriano has a Romeo and Juliet-ish feel to it, being that they got it bad for each other, and they're dedicated to each other in spite of the fact that their families are the mob equivalent of the Hatfields and the McCoys. What I like about this series is that while we do get a romance in each book (and each book features a different couple, but they need to be read in order),we also get up close and personal with the mafia side; now, you also need to know that there is a lot that is happening with the mafia side of the story. I mean A. LOT. You might need to keep notes so you can keep up lol.

I wish we had gotten the story on how Alessa and Adriano fell in love, because they're already together when book 1 starts; but even without that glimpse into the past, this is still a top-notch read and I cannot wait to read the next in the series, Theo's and Evelina's story.
