We get the basic elements in this story that comprise a lot of romance novels that are currently out: girl dates hot guy, there's a workplace and/or family issue, girl and hot guy break up, workplace and/or family issue is resolved, then the couple reunite and ride off into the sunset with their HEA.

Now, just from reading those 3 lines, you might think this isn't the book for you. But if you're looking for a light, sweet romance without a convoluted plot that could make your brain melt,  this is the book for you.

This is a cute story with a updated twist to the Cinderella story we all grew up reading. Jaine's sisters don't mistreat her, but they do take advantage of her and her good nature, so I was glad to see when she finally stood up to her sisters, especially Bree, who apparently is the queen of backhanded compliments. It's an eventful summer for Jaine and all of the wackiness that ensues, but everything comes together in the end and makes for a fun read. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, hopefully it will be Krystal's turn at romance.
