This installment brings even more hot sexiness with Jack and Eva, although their initial rendezvous was interrupted with the incident at Eva's place, which now has Jack's instincts kicking into high gear, enough that he's decided she'll stay with him in the interim. As much as that prospect appeals to Eva, she's still under the impression that this is nothing more than Jack being her "instructor", especially after the first run-in with Lucy the she-bitch, who doesn't seem to be able to buy all the clues that Jack wants nothing to do with her.
The danger towards Eva is beginning to ramp up, and she is beginning to realize that her brother's behavior regarding her safety was more than just over-the-top paranoia. The first incident is definitely a real eye-opener for Eva, but she manages to escape. The second incident Eva isn't so lucky, and that is the cliffhanger for this part of the series.
I'm enjoying this series, it's the right amount of emotions mixed in with all kinds of sexiness, Jack definitely knows how to please a woman, and Eva is a great blend sultry and innocence. You get the danger aspect with the whole Eva's in danger, what really happened to her parents and brother, plus the fatal attraction combination of Lucy's fixation on Jack. There is definitely more there with her, she knows some intimate details concerning Eva and Jack, and I've got a theory about that story arc, and I can't wait to see how that will play out when the last part is released.
