I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would; it's not like I've read a lot of stories that feature such a big difference in the ages of the main characters, but honestly, once you meet Neil, you don't even realize how much older he is than Nicola. I was surprised by how well their relationship actually came together and worked. This story moves at a good pace and flows well, but I was really pleased with was how well Rebecca accepted the relationship between her father and close friend.
