Well, I found this book...interesting. From reading the blurb, I thought this was going to be a dark romance, but that's not quite the case. Haithem definitely has an air of mystery and danger surrounding him, but not in regards to Angelina. As for Angelina, she came across as the young, naive 20 year old that she is, even going to so far to actually put herself in the position of the possibility of being in danger. All for getting information for an article she's supposed to write for a potential job with a magazine. Even though I made dumb decisions at at the age of 20, I damn sure wasn't about to sacrifice my safety for a potential job. I found I didn't really connect with the characters in this story, which ends with a HFN-ish cliffhanger and part two is released this summer.
