TRULY, MADLY, SWEETLY
Sweet Love #1
Releasing April 4th, 2016
Eric’s determined to build his own business, but he needs the super cute klutz with the cupcake truck to help. If Nat will teach him the basics of running a bakery, he’ll give her free kitchen time. Except…neither expects the heat burning between them or the possibility that their arrangement might become permanent.
When it all blows up, Nat is convinced his actions mean betrayal. It’s up to Eric to regain her trust and show her he’s a man who is truly, madly in love with her, before she disappears from his life forever.
I had high expectations for this story, and while I found it entertaining, it didn't make the impression I was hoping for. The premise was good, can you really go wrong when you've got a hot guy who loves gelato and a young woman who has a mobile cupcake truck, who learn that they've each inherited not just a bakery, but a coveted garage with parking for said bakery? I would say no, but I think what turned me off was that both Nat's friend Gina and Eric's friend Jared were planting the seeds of doubt that both Nat and Eric had hidden agendas when it came to working together. Actually, from the jump I didn't like Jared, he came across as a jackass who didn't seem to have anything nice to say about the whole situation. He seemed to treat Eric like a child, even at the start of the story. I felt that Eric didn't really have a backbone when it came to his parents, he even had the audacity to question Nat about the whole ex-boyfriend issue and made it seem like she had something to hide, this after his father had her investigated. I felt like he put Nat through too much and she took him back way too quickly.

Kira Archer resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, two kiddos, and far too many animals in the house. She tends to laugh at inappropriate moments, break all the rules she gives her kids (but only when they aren't looking), and would rather be reading a book than doing almost anything else. She has odd, eclectic tastes in just about everything and often lets her imagination run away with her. She loves her romances a little playful, a lot sexy, and always with a happily ever after.
