I have to say that Bethany-Kris has become my go-to author for mafia romance books, because this woman knows how to provide the right balance steamy sexy erotica and the world of the mafia in her stories.

I was pulled into the story right from the opening line "Duty" was the first word a Mafioso principessa learned growing up. Be good to the family. Bring them no shame. Smile for the crowd. And when the time comes, do your duty. The only thing wrong is that Emma isn't ready to do her duty for the family.

This book is filled with secrets, lies, betrayals, suspense, super hot sexy times between two people who aren't supposed to be together, but dammit, the heart wants what it wants. Calisto isn't a good man, he's dangerous and ruthless. But damnnnnnn he's all kinds of sexy. The things he says to Emma....the things he DOES to Emma will leave you needing a fresh pair of undergarments!

The danger kicks up even more, but there is a very good reason why it happens. I will say that this book ends on a cliffhanger, so if you aren't a fan of cliffhangers, you should probably wait until all three books are available. Regardless, you need this book in your life, so go 1-click!
