After reading Black and Red, I was stoked to find out that Jake was getting his own story, and this book delivers a great story from the first page. After the ups and downs he endured with Rose, Ilove how he and Addy came to be, but it's not smooth path to happiness for them, as jake has to be able to manage his demons enough that Addy won't be scared off. But just as Jake has his own issues, so does Addy. And while it was a bit hard, their story is definitely worth reading. I loved watching how his attitude towards Addy changed throughout the book, seeing how protective he became with her, and how she manages to complement his life, how well they complement each other. It won't be easy to let this series go, but I loved getting to know Black, Red, Jake and Addy.
