So far, this is my most favorite book in this series! Lawson is that guy who's known for his humor, and he uses it frequently, always in a good way. The flip side to that is you become more drawn in when he has his serious moments. He genuinely cares for his friends and loves to see them happy. We got to meet Langley in an earlier book (Remember When), but really getting the chance to know her in this book, you might find yourself extraordinarily impressed with her character. She's got a past that no one should ever have to endure, but she managed and got where she is with her life by sheer will and determination. Even though Lawson is the jokester extraordinaire, this book packs plenty of emotion.
