After the ending of Kingpin, with two unknown Family members agreeing that Dominic shouldn't be the new boss, I was excited to get started reading this book. It's been a year since Dominic became the boss and the Family is thriving, but with an organization like this there's always going to be someone with a vendetta. This book seemed to revolve more around the Family than it did Dominic and Alannah's romance. I did find it odd that in the first book Dominic was concerned about Alannah's safety, yet they didn't move in together until this book. I had to laugh at the start of the book when Alannah set her co-workers straight, but then I wondered if she'd ever told Dominic about what was happening with her at her job, because I couldn't see him allowing her to be treated like that, unless he just didn't know. I liked how the story wrapped up, although I'm kind of bummed that the series is now over.

WS Greer is a multi-genre author, and an active duty military member with the US Air Force. He’s been serving his country since 2004, and has been an author since his debut novel, Frozen Secrets, was released in 2013.
WS was born to military parents in San Antonio, Texas, and bounced around as a child, from Okinawa, Japan, to Florida, to New Mexico, where he met his high school sweetheart, who’d become his wife in 2003. Together, the two of them have two wonderful children, and are currently living overseas on the tiny island of Guam.
WS has tackled different genres throughout his writing career. From suspense with his debut novel Frozen Secrets, to erotic suspense with his bestselling Carter trilogy and Defending Her, and now contemporary romance with Worth Saving.
