I really enjoyed Max's and Emilia's story, the fact that they've known each other since they were kids gave the story a sense of realism. They lost touch for some years after Emilia moved, but became reacquainted again with Max once he became one of her patients. While Max is definitely attracted to Emilia, he does what he can to keep her in the friend zone, but as we know, the more time they spend together, the more feelings will change. I love how the Bennett family is written, they're all a bit....unique, but they've got plenty of love and loyalty for each other when it comes down to it.
