Hollering. This book had me hollering with laughter. Lexi is a character I think many of us can relate to, or we know someone like her. She's a hot mess, but she's doing what she can to start fresh for herself and her two daughters after she gets divorced. Thankfully Lexi has some great friends who decide to take her for a night out, which is where the story really begins to pick up.

So now we meet Luke, recently relocated to New York from Chi-town. He's staying with his brother, who is not his biggest fan; there's more to that, but you need to read the book to find out what. Let's just say that our intrepid Emily Goodwin does a bang-up job with the tense emotions and feelings that come through Luke and his brother.

The chemistry between Lexi and Luke is hot. HOT I tell you! But things get weird for Lexi once she discovers Luke's connection to her boss. I can't wait to see how everything is going to play out for Lexi and Luke!
