Death—it is inevitable, but I didn't know it could come so early.
If things didn't change, mine would be sooner than expected.
My life hasn't been easy, though with the way I act you’d think it has been.
I'm a joker, a partier, a playboy, a prankster. But I'm also broken.
A shell of a man.
Ryan Hunter, lead guitarist with nothing to live for.
Not even music soothes me completely.
My band is back together, we're doing really well—but I'm in a rut.
I'm lost, thinking about my past is swallowing me whole.
Especially since she turned up.
Our new PR manager. She’s feisty, in control and so damn sexy I can't stand it.
But that woman is not only taking my PR role from me, she's also taking my breath away, and that I won't stand for.
Not with my past, not with my demons.
Tillie Marks has to go.
And I will make damn sure it happens!

So, you ever have a book (or 3) by an author but you hadn't read any of them? Then you read a book for a blog tour and think to yourself "why haven't I read this author yet?" Yeah, that was me when I finished this book. I feel like I should apologize to Ms. Osborn for sleeping on her books and not reading anything before this. I have a plan to rectify that as soon as I possibly can.

I also want to give her a shout out for writing Ryan the way he is. Thank you for making his body so realistic. I've been wondering for a while why the overwhelming majority of main characters are so bodily perfect with broad shoulders, narrow waist and what seems like a 16-pack of abs. Ryan is not like this, he's got a bit of weight on him, and I embraced that about him. Now, his hot and cold behavior? Yeah, I didn't embrace that, but with everything he's dealt with in his life, I can understand his behavior. I don't excuse it, but I understand it. Goodness, the more I learned about him and what's happened in his life, my heart broke for him over and over (it's being held together by Gorilla Glue and cookie crumbs). But he didn't act like a bear throughout the book, there were times we got to see the sweet side to him.

Tillie is just a sweetheart! Unfortunately for her, Ryan is set on getting her to leave by any means necessary, but what he fails to realize is that the more vitriolic he is towards her, that's just the impetus for her to work harder.

Australian author K E Osborn was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. With a background in graphic design and a flair for all things creative, she felt compelled to write the story brewing in her mind.
Writing gives her life purpose. It makes her feel, laugh, cry and get completely enveloped in the characters and their story lines. She feels completely at home when writing and wouldn’t consider doing anything else.
