My first time reading Heather Stone and I found this book to be entertaining. I enjoy a good friends-to-lovers story and that's what we get with this book. Plenty of sexual tension between Cole and Mackenzie, although I wasn't that impressed with Cole initially; he came across like a jackhole at the start of the book, but at least Mackenzie has known him long enough to call him on it. This story moves at a fast pace, but what I liked was the twist that was written in to shake up the story just a bit.
