I loved this book! The chemistry between Gage and Phoenix is all kinds of hot, even if Phoenix didn't want to admit it. Gage Falcon is seemingly the man holding his family together, but they are so dysfunctional it ain't even funny. But Gage is dealing with some pretty serious family issues that have him turned inside out, and part of what's going on presently stems from an incident that happened when Gage and his brothers were younger; that seemed to have caused a rift between the Falcon brothers. To add insult to injury, Gage's mom doesn't seem to care about Gage, she seems to be concerned with him running the family business in order to keep her in the lifestyle she's become accustomed to.
Phoenix is learning how to make her way in the world, doing what she wants instead of what's expected of her. She's definitely a feisty spitfire of a woman who appears to have a strong dislike for Gage at the start of the book, and she has no problem letting it be known that she doesn't like him. What I liked though was that Gage didn't let that stop him from pursuing her, dirty talk and all (and that man knows how to do dirty talk!)
