Confession: this is first time I've read anything by Cora Carmack. I found this to be an interesting concept: controlling magical storms, and all the drama that's associated with being royalty. But not only do we get the royalty drama, we get the royalty drama mixed in with teenage angst. Oh, this book made me glad I'm welllllllll past my teen years. I liked Roar's character, but honestly I wasn't impressed with either Locke or Cassius. Locke is....I guess overbearing. Cassius is more devious and manipulative.
