I really think this is the best book of the series, and that's saying something because each book is pretty freakin' amazing. Mandee and Gray had encountered each other when they were younger, but it's not until this book that they realize who the other is. Was it fate or destiny that brought them together? The answer could be both, or it could be because of the parental situations that occurred when they were young. Gray's survival instinct is to run, but is Mandee enough of a reason to stay put? And will he be able to deal with the demons that have always been the catalyst for him to avoid any sort of romantic relationship and run? If you've read the first two books (and if you haven't, you should), then you know some of the Falcon family history

When I have made peace with my anger, released it in tears and screams and allowed my body to float and release the tension, I simply float, eyes closed, kicking my feet ever so often, moving my arms when I feel I should and allow myself to drift toward reality’s shores.
