REVIEW BLITZ - Beneath The Truth (Beneath #7) by Meghan March

From USA Today bestselling author Meghan March comes the final sexy standalone set in the Beneath world of New Orleans.

I used to believe there were lines in life you don't cross.
Don't lie. Don't cheat. Don't steal.
Until I learned people don't always practice what they preach.
I turned in my badge and gun and walked away from everything.
Then I got the call no one wants, and I’m back in New Orleans.
What I don't expect is for her to be here too.
Another line you don’t cross?
Don't touch your best friend’s little sister.
She's always been off-limits.
Too bad I don't follow the rules anymore.

This is one helluva fantastic way to end this series! I've been waiting for Rhett's story since Beneath these Chains, so I took my time to savor this book, and it was worth the time I spent reading it. Rhett is so deliciously alpha I almost couldn't handle it. He's kind of lost his way in the last year, but he's back in the Crescent City, trying to solve a case, but off the record since he's no longer employed by the department. With a new found sense of purpose, and following some wise advice, he decides to go for what and who he wants. And she is the right match for him! I loved how both of them seem to have reverted back to awkward teen crush status when they were around each other, despite how put together they are on their own. And since this is Meghan March, you already know the woman knows how to create sexy time scenes that hot enough that your significant other (or B.O.B., ain't no shame there) will greatly benefit from what you're reading.

Hell, they should write her thank you cards and send fruit baskets her way!

But I digress. This book has it all: some humor, a good deal of suspense and mystery, just the right amount of sweet and hot sexiness you could ask for. If you have't read this series yet (and why is that? You need this series in your life), I highly recommend it. Every book is just as great as the one before and you won't be disappointed with any part of the Beneath series.

Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She's also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she's ever had. She loves hearing from her readers at meghanmarchbooks@gmail.com.
