Goodness, chapter one got me right in the feels! Sierra about broke my heart at the start of the story; plus it didn't help that when I started this book I'd just learned about a death in my family, so my emotions were all over the place. And Chase's situation? Minus the nomadic-type lifestyle, I could sympathize with his feelings of not really feeling like a part of his family. But once these two meet? Absolutely fantastic! Chase was so sweet with Sierra, gentle and patient, never pushing her out of her comfort zone, letting her set the pace of their blossoming friendship. The dialogue between them is sometimes sweet, sometimes hilarious and sometimes emotional. As we're all familiar with these stories, there's always a bit of mystery for one of the main characters that if their secrets were ever revealed, it could destroy any potential shot at happiness with their forever person.
