If there's one author out there who knows how to bring her A-game with every book she writes, it's definitely Melissa Foster. She's written like what, 843 books so far? Maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but with each book she writes never feels like a repeat of an earlier story. And we certainly get another outstanding tale for Ty and Aiyla.
Without rehashing the synopsis, it's clear from the start of the book that there's something real between Ty and Aiyla, even if it'd been months since they'd seen each other. It would seem that the player had met The One in Aiyla back with they were in Switzerland, but his reputation preceded him enough that Aiyla wasn't looking to be one in a long line of females that had shared some adult time with Ty.
If you've read any Melissa Foster book, you know that while for the most part you get a straightforward love story, there's always something that happens to shake things up between the couple, and that's certainly no different for Aiyla and Ty, although this event certainly makes this an emotional journey, but oh so worth it (just make sure to have a couple of tissues close by).
It was fate when they met in Switzerland, it was fate that brought them back together in Colorado, will fate be kind a third time for them? I won't say, but I can say with certainty this was one of my favorite Melissa Foster books to date.
