So glad that Colin finally gets his turn in the hot seat of romance! And he didn't disappoint. I loved the banter between him and Sloane, he knows how to keep it real and didn't come across as a stuffy, stick-up-the-arse billionaire who's had his heart broken in the past to the point of not letting anyone get past the Pentagon-style defensive walls around his heart. Sloane is the nose-to-the-grindstone, don't let personal get in the way of professional Operations VP for Colin's current building project. Until the night of the company holiday party, that's when the gloves come off. Or the clothes come off. The heat chemistry between Sloane and Colin is pretty hot, hovering somewhere close to the nuclear level, and the sexy times between them are scorching hot! We all know that with romance stories, there's always a reason that threatens to split the couple du jour apart, and while that happens in this book, the situation is quickly rectified in a mature manner and I absolutely appreciated that fact. The only things I would have liked was for the book to be a bit longer, and that the epilogue gave us a glimpse into the distant future for Colin and Sloane.
