This was my first time reading Deanna Wadsworth and I loved every minute of this story! I fell in love with both Forrester and Kyle, and the potential romance between them at the start. The interactions between them at the start is so flippin' cute, with neither sure of the other's orientation, and I got a kick out of how Forrester brought up the subject without actually saying the words.
It's obvious there's chemistry between Forrester and Kyle, but they've each got their own issues to work through if they're going to engage in a committed relationship: Forrester with his family and the incident from Kyle's past that could possibly thwart any future happiness with Forrester.
I liked seeing how Kyle was there for Forrester when it came to dealing with two vastly different issues within the Giordano family, and how accepting Forrester's brothers were when the truth was finally revealed (well, almost all the brothers). I'm looking forward to reading more about the Men of Gilead.
